So I knew that there is a huge national Shriners convention going on in downtown Cincy.

But I didn’t know that there was a huge Shriners parade going down Fifth Street tonight.





And even the horse got in the glitz with their bedazzled hooves…



There were Shriners on motorcycles…



And Shriners on golf carts…









And Shriners on trikes…



And of course, Shriners in those iconic little cars…











There’s always something interesting and entertaining going on in downtown Cincinnati.

When did Cock & Bull English Pub move right onto Hyde Park Square?



Who knew? Not me. I rarely leave downtown. Too much good stuff down here. 🙂

I made my first trip to Five Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch today. I ordered a bacon

cheeseburger with mayo, pickles, tomatoes, jalapenos and bbq sauce. Great burger.



I also got an order of their cajun fries. I’ve never seen so many fries in my life. YUM!

On the side of the Duke Energy Center.

On my way back downtown, I stopped at the Ikea in West Chester since I was out in that

direction anyway. My kitchen stools have been getting increasingly wobbly. I don’t think

I’ve been out in West Chester since all the back at the end of June in 2009. Geez.





After much debate, I decided on some new stools and a few other little odds and ends.

I love how when you are trying to navigate to find your boxes of stuff just how much it

looks like that last scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark…



“We have top men working on it now.” “Who?” Top. Men.”

LOL. I love Ikea. 🙂

I went up north to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets to get some new back to work clothes.







The US National Team’s Clint Dempsey was there. Okay, not really. But kinda…



As was Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs…



I made out really good on the new button-up tip. But came up a bit short on the pants.

Unfortunately, casual shoes weren’t on the list of necessities. Otherwise, I would have

picked up a pair of these guys without even thinking about it…



But I have new work clothes now. Hooray.

Tonight, I went to Arnold’s and got a burger Keith’s Way with cheddar, bacon and BBQ sauce.
