This afternoon Genifer and I walked over to Newport on the Levee to check out the Glier’s

GoettaFest. Goetta, said Get-uh, is a breakfast sausage of German origin that is popular

around Cincinnati. It’s primarily composed of ground meat and oats. Mmm… meat.























We tried Goetta balls, a something else Goetta and a Goetta corndog. It was the best.







It was fun to walk around and try some Goetta but it was also really hot outside.

This evening was the annual Downtown Dash and Block Party.



A lot of runners turned out for the 5K sprint…








It was pretty neat to have a bird’s eye view of the starting/finish line. 🙂

I’ve been buying the 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Beer whenever stumble
across it. It’s become my new favorite summer time beer. Sorry Oberon and Summer Shady.

The port-a-potties have arrived for tonight’s Downtown Dash & Block Party.

Tonight was the night. Paul McCartney. In downtown Cincinnati. At Great American Ball Park. Just wow. Really. There simply aren’t words to describe this tremendous evening…
