Yesterday, I got my haircut. And I completely forgot to post of photo of my new ‘do.

No more shaggy dog here. 🙂

I paid my friends at Cafe de Wheels a visit for lunch. I ordered a Cowboy burger and fries.


Oh geez. It’s been waaay too long since I’ve had myself a delicious Cafe de Wheels Cowboy
burger. SuperYum FTW!

Today at lunchtime, there was an event put on by the American Cancer Society called
Paint the Square Pink. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and they kicked off
the month one day early to provide information on breast cancer…



The Square definitely had a lot of pink going on. 🙂

I bashed the crap out of my finger this morning while getting ready for work.

Ouch. It hurt like hell. But it least finally decided to stop bleeding.

We must be timing our walks perfectly in the morning right now. Because we keep
getting to see beautiful sunrise after beautiful sunrise almost every morning.










Getting to see sights like this every morning makes getting out of bed not so bad.

Today is the five month anniversary of my first date with Genifer. I couldn’t imagine being
with a more affectionate, sweeter, funnier, more beautiful girl than her. I’ve never been with
anyone that I’ve had so much in common with. I mean, it’s been five months and we haven’t
even had so much as a disagreement, let alone an argument. It’s been an amazing five months.

Life is good and I’m loving life. With Genifer. Here’s to many, many more months to come with
this simply incredible woman. Swoon. 🙂

When we were on our way home from our walk, we saw this storm rolling into downtown.









And before we could even make our way to the other side of the tunnel, it started pouring.



We waited in the tunnel for the storm to let up a little bit and then made a break for it. But
we still got drenched on the walk home. So lesson learned. Don’t leave home for a walk
without an umbrella during this time of year. You never know when you’re going to get
caught out in a torrential downpour. Because apparently, it’s monsoon season in Cincinnati.

Leading up to next year’s World Choir Games, the Powers That Be gave the Cincinnati end
of the Purple People Bridge a fresh coat of paint, some new benches and pretty flowers…









The re-beautified Purple People Bridge will be officially unveiled tomorrow at 1:30pm.
