I ran over to Genifer’s to pick her up and we sat by her fire pit for a little while.




I had forgotten just how much I enjoy a good fire pit. 🙂

After checking out our new space, we went to Via Vite for Lasagna Lunch Friday.

I forgot just how incredible their lasagna is. It’s been waaay too long.

In two weeks, the entire marketing team is moving across the street to the eleventh
floor of the tower on Fountain Square. I think we’re all pretty excited.

Before lunch, we went over to check out the progress on the space. There’s still a lot
of work to be done. Our creative team space is off in one corner. My cube will be the
first one there with paint cans in it…

It’s going to be pretty amazing once we move. We definitely have the best space on the floor.
And we have a huge collaboration/brainstorming area with magnetic white board wall and a
huge flat screen TV for presentations and other fun stuff. I’ll post more photos once we’re all
moved in. I’m loving my job. I work on a great creative team and we’ve been turning out some
amazing creative for the institution. I should have made this move a long time ago. 🙂

We almost got tickets to see Bryan Adams at the Taft Theatre. But we didn’t.

One of the funniest moments of our relationship to this point involved a mix-up between
Bryan Adam’s “Summer of ’69” and Van Halen’s “Panama” at a Reds game. Hilarity.
We’re still laughing about it to this day. 🙂

I’ve walked by Potbelly a million times on my way to and from Fountain Square. But I’ve
never actually stopped in or eaten there. Today, I decided it was time for that to change.


I got a big chicken and cheddar sammich…


It was actually a really delicious sammich. I’ll totally be back. Maybe even tomorrow.

For me, one of the first signs that the holidays are just around the corner is when the
U.S. Bank Ice Rink on Fountain Square begins to take shape once again…


It’s scheduled to be open for skating on November 23rd. 🙂
