I ventured across the river to hear one of my favorite bands, Pomegranates in the final
waning days of the historic Southgate House, scheduled to close after the year ends.




But when I got inside, I was sadly informed that the Pom show had sold-out about
twenty minutes prior to my arrival. And that kind of sucks. But I came home watched
the Xavier game (ugh), had a couple of beers, listened to some Pom and took a walk down
memory lane by looking at all the old photos I had taken of Pom at Southgate House.

Hopefully, I’ll have better luck next Thursday when another fave, The Seedy Seeds play
Southgate House for the final time.

So much for taking a long walk tonight.

Traffic looked ridiculous when I was walking home from work this evening.

Today at work, there was Original Virginia Bakery Schnecken and homemade apple pie.



Mmmm… Pure buttery goodness.

But at least it wasn’t raining tonight. I could go for some more sunshine.
Or even a little bit of snow for Christmas.

We woke up to more rain. Surprise, surprise, surprise…

No more shaggy dog here. 🙂

We went back to Nicholson’s for brunch. Chicken and waffle sliders!!!

Other than that, we didn’t do much today other than watching a lot of football.

Tonight, we all went to celebrate Cleve receiving his MBA!
