Back on New Year’s Eve, my sister gave me this amazing piece of pottery that she made.
I love everything about this piece… the color, the shape and how it’s perfectly imperfect.




It reminds of that scene from Fight Club… “Even the glass dishes with tiny bubbles
and imperfections. Proof that they were crafted by the honest, simple, hard-working
indigenous peoples of… wherever.” Only I know where mine came from. And that’s
straight from the hands of my sister.
