We walked all the way to the end of Friendship Park. And ended up walking 3.91 miles.
We love our walking. 🙂

Genifer and I grabbed some lunch at Rock Bottom Brewery. I’ve fallen in love with one
of their burgers, the Laredo burger… A southwest-inspired with Pepper Jack cheese,
homemade guacamole, pico de gallo and chipotle mayo…

Holy geez, it’s delicious.

Today was the last day for skating on the US Bank Ice Rink on Fountain Square.
When we walked though the Square, there was some pee-wee hockey going on.

We left Arnold’s to meet a couple of Genifer’s friends at one of my least favorite bars
in all of downtown, FBs. The reasons I can’t stand this hole are too numerous to list,
but it’s where her friends were going so…. what are you gonna do?





Genifer was happy she got to see her friends. We hung out for a drink and then bounced.
I can’t believe people like that place. Ugh.

We went to see Jake Speed and the Freddies at Arnold’s. This was the last show they’d
be able to play at Arnold’s for a bit because according to their email… Kids. School. Life.

The patio was absolutely packed. And I completely forgot to take a photo of just how
packed it was. But believe me, it was like sardines. They did make one of their usually
appearances in the main bar area for a song…

Even though we didn’t get a seat on the patio, still a great night.

Oh… And while we were at Arnold’s, we watched the end of the MIchigan v. Ohio State
basketball game. And all I have to say is… HAIL! GO BLUE!

And we walked 4.62 miles today. 🙂

Last night, we moved all of Genifer’s stuff into my our apartment. 🙂

I haven’t seen a Little Caesars in years. Not since all the way back when I lived in Michigan
years and years ago. In Kalamazoo, I remember them being all over the place. I remember
their pizzas being rather tasty. I’d heard rumors that they existed in Cincinnati but never
actually saw one. So you can imagine my surprise when I was out on Beechmont Avenue
and there it was… a Little Caesars.

I just had to stop and get a pizza pie for old-time’s sake.

Their thing is that you can get a large one-topping, anytime for only $5. Five bucks.

YUM! And I got cheesy bread for just $4. Ridiculousness.

What a great blast from the past. That first bite immediately took me to being in Michigan.

I got a package from my brother, Josh and Jeannette. Inside was this Celtics Slapper
and a note from Josh saying that “These are the hot new item with all the kids at the
Garden. Snap away!” How cool is that?
