This photo is going to appear in an upcoming issue of Military Officer magazine for a
feature on interesting festivals around the U.S. My photo is going to be the only one used
for the bit about Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. How flattering is that? And once again something
totally awesome and unexpected comes out of my Flickr library of images from around
Cincinnati. I love my Flickr. 🙂

My buddy Chuck tweeted me a link about America’s Best New Sandwiches of 2012 on the
Huffington Post. So I was clicking through the article, drooling over the sammiches and
at number 4 was Cincinnati’s own, Tom+Chee. The photo they used looked really familiar…

I took that photo for my friends at Tom+Chee just about a year ago. Today is turning out
to be a really good day for my photos! This is just too funny. 🙂

ps. I didn’t realize Tom+Chee’s new website was up and running.
I shot all the food photography for them. Too cool. 🙂

I received a request this morning to allow my photo to be used on EverydayHealth.com.

We’ll see what happens. All I know is that a lot of awesome has come out of my Flickr.

We went over to Nada to grab a little bite to eat for Valentine’s Day.

Where else would we go? It’s one of our favorite places downtown.

Genifer got me a little box of chocolates, an array of my very favoritest candy bars and this
card. I think it’s hilarious. And it made me laugh out loud.

One of the things I love about her most is that we have the same sense of humor.

Genifer and I agreed not to go nuts with all of the Valentine’s Day silliness. No huge bouquets
of roses. No ginormous boxes of chocolates. Just simple and low-key. She doesn’t really care
for chocolate so I got her a Starbuck’s gift card and this one rose. I just loved the color of it.

And I love the color combination between the pink of the rose and the bright green buttons.
