This afternoon we walked to Crave again to enjoy their amazing Saturday happy hour.
While we were there, we got a watch some of the US Women’s National Team friendly
against Canadia. And then we walked to Righteous Room to use our gift cards from the
4EG Happy Hour on Fountain Square. And look at what we found at Righteous Room…

21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Wheat beer. We hung out for a bit and
watched some of the Reds game. Kinda low-key but a really fun Saturday afternoon.

We tried another of the newer food trucks this evening, EAT!


We ordered the Day After Thanksgiving Turkey sammich which was really good…

But the clear winner was the Grilled chicken sammich…

Awesome sammich. Yet another great meal from the Cincinnati food trucks.
And sorry about the kinda crappy photos but we were really hungry. 🙂
I promise I’ll take some better photos the next time we EAT!

I finally got around to trying the newest Cincinnati food truck, Pizza Bomba for lunch.

I got a couple of $3 slices of pepperoni pizza…

At lunch today, Rousch Fenway Racing was on hand to show off Matt Kenseth’s No. 17
Fifth Third Bank Ford Fusion. I’m really not a big NASCAR fan by any stretch of the
imagination. But it was pretty neat to get to see one of the cars all up-close…

102º tomorrow? Yikes.

We saw this party on the Ohio River when we were walking across the river to Newport
to watch the Euro 2012 quarterfinal between England and Italy after the Reds game…



Looks like fun. It’s times like this that I wish we had a boat.

We decided to brave the heat, walk down to the ball park and watch the rubber game
of the interleague series between the Reds and the Twins this afternoon…



They had a new scoreboard game between innings, Press Your Luck!

Mr. Reds race…

Joey Votto put the Reds in the lead with a two-run blast in the eighth to make it 3-2!


And that means…

CHAPMAN!!!

Aroldis Chapman versus Joe Mauer…

And Mauer would win this battle with a double after fouling off at least 10 pitches.
The next Twin took Chapman deep to give the Twins a 4-3 lead that they wouldn’t give
back. I felt so bad for Aroldis. He just stood there with hands on this knees, staring at
his shoes. It was the second straight save attempt he’s blown. Back on Tuesday, the
same thing happened when the Indians took Aroldis yard in the ninth for a walk-off win
in the tenth inning. But all you can do is learn from your mistakes, and try to do better
next game. The Reds continue the home stand tomorrow as the Brewers come into
town for a three game set. And we’ll be back at the ball park Tuesday night. 🙂


Win or lose, you just can’t beat being at the ball park. Go Reds! 🙂

After the Midpoint Indie Summer, we got stopped at El Taco Azul, the taco food truck.

We got these chicken tacos that were awesome…

And not pictured is the chicken burrito we ordered. Quite possibly the best burrito
that I’ve ever had in my entire life. 🙂
