Tonight, we went to Fountain Square’s Movie Night. Tonight’s movie was Air Bud
because it was bring your dog to the Square for a movie night.









And even though only two dogs came to the Square for the movie, it was still a great
evening. There’s always something fun going on in downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

At last Sunday’s Reds game, the Reds pitchers once again struck out 11 batters in the
sweep over the Brewers. And that meant a free small LaRosa’s pizza for everyone at the
game. AGAIN! Today, we got more FREE LaRosa’s pizza! Genifer got a cheese pizza…

And I got a sausage and green olive pizza pie…

We also got another order of Rondo’s too…

Really good stuff. 🙂

Tonight was the very first Cincinnati Night Owl Market or Cincy NOM. It was lined
with food trucks, food booths and all sorts of good stuff. It’s going to taking place at
the next few Final Fridays in OtR. You know we just had to check this thing out…



GLSEN was on hand taking photos with a real live fake owl…










We tried two different grilled cheeses from C’est Cheese…



We got the Hollywood… grilled hotdog, American cheese, pickled tomato, cucumber
and red onion tuscan pane. And the Bee Sting… mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, basil
infused honey and chili flaked butter on tuscan pane. Though, I don’t remember which
was which.

Next time, I’ll remember to take photos of the inside of the sammiches. Kind of like
Twitter friend, Lauren Doyle arranged her grilled cheese…

Those were some delicious grilled cheeses!





And Genifer got some chicken tacos from Taco Azul…



In a word… Awesome! It was amazing to have all these food trucks in one place.

After Fountain Square, we walked up into Over-the-Rhine to have a beer at The Drinkery.

They have a pretty awesome little back alley patio…

There was a rally this evening to support the Anna Louise Inn at Lytle Park. Over the
last year, Western & Southern Life has been doing everything in their power to try to
prevent necessary renovations to the Anna Louise Inn, an affordable housing unit that
has been a blessing to women in Cincinnati for over 100 years…

We didn’t do much at all this evening. But we did make turkey burgers for dinner…

Tonight, we walked over to the new Washington Park for a free concert featuring two
well-loved local bands, Jake Speed and Freddies and Over-The-Rhine.



Whoa! Looks like a lot, like A LOT of other people had the same idea…


Geez. I’m beginning to think the new Washinton Park might just be a really big hit!
