Landor’s new window display commemorates a few of their associates week long trip
around the country following local rock band Ohio Knife, who performed at SXSW in
Austin. And the culmination is four giant window displays that celebrate that trip.

Today at lunch time was the annual Freaky Friday Water Balloon Toss on Fountain Square.

This afternoon my department had an outing to the Reds Business Day Special. It was
the final game of the series versus the Diamondbacks. And work got us All-You-Can-Eat
seats. I’ve never had AYCE seats before. This should be pretty fun…

The Reds didn’t get their first hit of the game until the fifth inning. And then
Brandon Phillips hit a three run phunkblast to put the Reds on the board.

The Reds were right back in the ball game. Up until this point, it was Dbacks 6-0.


A throwing error, a Brandon Phillips double run double and a Todd Frazier single later,
and the Reds looked up to see that there were leading 7-6!


The Reds led 7-6 going into the top of the ninth. That means…





BOOM! And ball game! Reds win 7-6 in their biggest comeback since May 2007!




All-You-Can-Eat grand total: 5 hot dogs, half bag of peanuts and half bag of popcorn.
Stop staring at me shampoo!

And I brought Genifer home some peanuts too!

Another great afternoon spent at the ball park! 🙂

I went to Keystone over in Covington for lunch. It was half-priced quesadilla Tuesday.

I ordered a BBQ chicken ‘dilla. It was pretty awesome…

Yum.

Milan and I went out on a walk down to the riverfront to check out the aftermath of last
weekend’s Bunbury Music Festival. I was curious to see what kind of condition the parks
lining the riverfront would be in after the three-day festival.







I was thinking there would be trash everywhere, and all the grass would be trampled.
But all in all I was really pretty impressed with how well the parks faired. And just
how little trash was was still around only a day after the festival ended. Well done!

At Friday night’s Reds game, the Reds pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts in the win
over the Cards. And that meant a free small LaRosa’s pizza for everyone at the game.
Today, we took advantage of that offer. Genifer got pepperoni and banana peppers…

And I got regular sausage and Italian sausage…

Yum! We also tried an order of their Rondos…

Pretty good stuff. You can’t beat a lunch that only cost $6! 🙂

This afternoon we walked to monthly The City Flea at the newly renovated Washington Park.









The new Washington Park is really pretty spectacular. What a great venue for The Flea.










Food trucks were on hand…




And it was the very first day for the new grilled cheese truck, C’est Cheese…

Pepper jack grilled cheese with apple butter on a crossiant…

Ammmmazing! And we got a couple of dogs…



And speaking of dogs, there was this awesome, very happy three-legged dog.

The new Washington Park is really something…


Terrific afternoon…
