We got our holiday weekend started off on the right foot with the happy hour at Crave.

We hadn’t seen any groundhogs on our walks lately. But tonight, we saw one again…

Tonight was the final 4EG Happy Hour of the summer. And to celebrate, 4EG was going
to announce the name of their newest bar on Sixth Street. Let’s go…






There was really great musics tonight. Fuseamania got the happy hour started…


Time for the big announcement…

Drumroll…

And the name of 4EG’s new bar is Igby’s! Now it’s time celebrate with Bad Veins!!!

















On the way home, we walked by Igby’s on Sixth Street. We can’t wait check this place
out when it opens in October. It looks like it’s going to huge. And since it’s a 4EG
bar, you just know it’s going to be a really cool addition to downtown Cincinnati.


It’s been a great summer of Monday happy hours. And now, we have $90 in 4EG gift cards
to keep the Monday happy hours going at Righteous Room…

Thanks 4EG! We hope you do your Monday happy hours again next summer! 🙂

I hope it doesn’t rain this evening. We have stuff we want to do. 🙂

The last couple of weeks we’ve been walking just over twenty miles a week. Last week,
we walked 21.2 miles and the week before, we walked 21.6 miles. We still love our walking. 🙂

And last week, I tallied 188 check-ins at 56 different venues on Foursquare.
I love my Foursquare too. 🙂

This Praying Mantis was on the windowsill in our stairwell…


But it may be dead seeing as how it was in the same exact position when we got home.

We picked up a couple of tickets to the AVP Cincinnati Open up at Washington Park. But
someone got the dates jumbled and it turns out the tournament is actually next weekend.

After marveling at all that sand, we walked over to The Lackman to have a drink.
And they had Southern Tier Pumking on tap…

Yum! I think it might just be the best pumpkin ale I’ve ever tasted. Delicious!

ps. That someone who doesn’t understand the concept of a calendar would be me.

We bought some ducks this afternoon for next weekend’s Rubber Duck Regatta!
