We got this really cool button in the mail from the Contemporary Arts Center…

We’re thinking about renewing our membership to the CAC. But I don’t know that they’ll
ever be able to top the events they put on when Shepard Fairey was in town. Remember
Supply and Demand and the The Event block party?

We’ll definitely give some thought to renewing our membership… 🙂

I was walking back to work after lunch and I saw the C’est Cheese food truck on the
far on Fifth Street. Even though I had already eaten lunch, I couldn’t resist picking
up a couple of grilled cheese sammiches for Genifer and I to share later. This was only
the third time that I’ve seen their food truck, Blanche. The only other two times were
at The City Flea at Washington Park and at the Cincinnati Night Owl Market.

Today, I order the Bee Sting…

And the Spicy Yetta…


Oh… and C’est Cheese tweeted a photo of us with our very first Spicy Yetta at The City Flea!

This afternoon we walked up to Washington Park to check out the OtR Community Festival.

A helicopter landed on Fountain Square this morning as part of a countdown kick-off
for the big Labor Day fireworks spectacular held down on the OHio River. Frankly, I
don’t think there should be a count down to the end of summer and/or fireworks no
matter how over the top the display of pyrotechnics is, but that’s me. And I digress.
Apparently, helicopter landed on Fountain Square this morning…


But I did manage to see it take back off this afternoon…


There’s always something going on. 🙂
