To dodge the torrential downpour that interrupted our Guinness Oyster Fest festivities,
we stopped into Mynt Martini on Fountain Square. And stumbled on to something pretty
awesome. They were cooking up burgers on their grill for just $5. It’s pretty hard to
mess up a burger on the grill. And we love grill. Genifer and I had to try a couple.

And it was really an incredible burger! As were the chips. And on Thursdays, they have
buy one, get one free burgers! You know where we’re going to be come Thursday.

Mynt also had a dunking booth on their patio for some reason. So when we were done eating,
I let Genifer dunk me a couple times…


We were going to get soaked on the way home anyway. 🙂

After the AVP, we walked to Fountain Square to check out the Guinness Oyster Fest.












It started to look pretty threatening…

And then this puppy noticed that it was starting to sprinkle…

And then the skies opened up and it was pouring. Run for cover!

This afternoon we walked up to Washington Park to watch the actual second day of the
AVP Cincinnati Open. Elm Street between the park and Music Hall was been transformed
into three beach volleyball courts. How cool is this going be?














We spotted three-time gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings waiting for her match…


And we saw London Olympians Gibb and Rosenthal play a match…



We walked over across the event lawn to get some Keystone mac & cheese…




We grabbed our B.B. King mac & cheese and headed back to watch Kerri Walsh’s match…










We moved to the other court to watch silver medalists April Ross and Jennifer Kessy…






It was an incredible afternoon with all sorts of great volleyball action!
