This afternoon we went back down to The Banks to visit Crave and their amazing Saturday
Happy Hour. It’s been a while since we were last able to take advantage of their happy hour.
Genifer ordered her beloved steak bites…
They are her favorite! I ordered one of my faves as well, the mini cheeseburgers…
They also added some new items to their happy hour menu. And you know we just had
to try a couple of them. We tried their mac & cheese with chicken…
And we tried their chipotle BBQ ribs…
Delicious stuff! And the kicker is just how ridiculously inexpensive it is for all this
great, delicious food and a few drinks. We love Crave. Especially their happy hour. 🙂

Lasagna Friday.
Genifer had the day off from work today. We went to lunch together. And she wanted to
try Via Vite‘s famous lasagna that I’m always ranting and raving about…

YUM! Great lunch. 🙂

Free Currito burritos!
This morning, Currito in downtown Cincinnati had a #CurritoRTContest on their Twitter.
The first 20 people to retweet their tweet would win a free burrito. And I won! After work,
we stopped in to Currito to pick up our free burrito…

Later that evening, Genifer and I split our free classic burrito for dinner…

YUM! Is it just me or does stuff taste even better when it’s free? I love my Twitter. 🙂

A new personal best!
On Monday, I set a new personal best for points over 7 days on my Foursquare…
And then on Tuesday, I eclipsed that high score from yesterday…
And I topped it again today…
I’ve never been able to break the 800 point mark before! I love my Foursquare! 🙂

Welcome home, baby!
After work today, we went back to Local’s Sports Bar to partake of some happy hour, and
get something to eat. It was a belated “Welcome home” meal for Genifer.
She got the Carnitas sammich topped with cole slaw and fried jalapenos…
And I got The Italian Invasion chicken sammich buffalo style with their amazing onion rings…
We really like Local’s a lot. 🙂

Eat. Play. Give.
I was asked to be a guest blogger at this morning’s Eat. Play. Give. It’s the annual fundraiser
for the de Cavel Family SIDS Foundation featuring a gourmet brunch from some of the top
chefs, restaurants and vendors throughout Greater Cincinnati area. And it was held at the
Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State. I felt extremely honored to be asked to attend
this event. Because it’s for such a good cause, and I knew the food was going to be beyond
amazing. And I’ve never been on Cincinnati State’s campus before. It seemed very nice…

The host of the eat. play. give., Jean-Robert de Cavel.

There was a silent auction with lots of unique items to bid on.

And now without further ado, let the eating begin…

This event was incredible. Everyone was very friendly. And the food was every bit as
delicious and delectable as it looks. My only regret is that I didn’t take notes on what
I was eating and where it was from. But there’s always next year… 🙂

Local’s Sports Bar & Grill, part two.
Tonight, we went back to Local’s Sports Bar & Grill to get something to eat. Genifer
order Local’s Signature Quesadilla. It was huge. Definitely enough for two to enjoy.
And I ordered the Big Haas Burger. Two 5oz. burgers with cheese galore topped with an
onion ring, a helping of their carnitas and cole slaw. OMG. It was ginormous.

It was a great but incredibly enormous meal. But at least we have lunch for tomorrow. 🙂
