This evening we went back to Igby’s for happy hour to usher in the weekend.

The Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic between Cincinnati and Xavier is fast approaching.

This year’s Classic is going to be played down at US Bank Arena after last year’s brawl.
It kind of sucks because tickets start at $35 a piece. You know what else sucks?

There are still 124 days until there’s baseball again at Great American Ball Park. 😦
But at least, we did have Skyline for dinner. 🙂

I think I might have mentioned it before but we’ve been on a really big cider kick lately.
So after the Bengals game, we headed to Blue Wisp. They have Angry Orchard cider on tap.




Good stuff! And I became the mayor of Blue Wisp on my Foursquare! Good times. 🙂

The Bengals were playing the Raiders this afternoon. The game didn’t sell-out again.
And that meant, it wasn’t on TV. But Local’s Sports Bar was streaming the game…

I ordered some Dirty Dogs…

Genifer had the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread again…

The guy next to us left his tip as origami…

And the Bengals whooped the Raiders 34-10! Fun afternoon. Who-dey. 🙂

After The Game debacle today, we decided to make Thanksgiving part two! We prepared
our turkey tenderloin in a 7×11″ glass pan and threw it in the oven for 55 minutes…

Next, we got our green bean casserole ready to go in the oven…

Our au gratin potatoes were starting to look good…

The turkey was starting to smell delicious…

While everything was cooking, we cracked opened the growler of Southern Tier Pumking…


Stuffing…

Turkey gravy…

BBQ baked beans…



Our turkey tenderloin was done cooking and smelled incredible…

Delicious. Our Thanksgiving part two was awesome! And we have a bunch of leftovers!

Today, we walked over to Newport on the Levee to go to Claddagh’s Thanksgiving Buffet!







The buffet was full of all sorts of amazing Thanksgiving staples. Plate number one…

When we finally headed for home, we were stuffed. Thank goodness for the walk home.



It was a great way to spend Thanksgiving and watch some football. And tomorrow,
we’re actually going to cook Thanksgiving dinner part two! We can’t wait!

Okay… maybe Saturday. We’ll just have to see how we feel. 🙂

At Party Source, we found Southern Tier’s Pumking on tap at their growler station.

We picked up a growler to drink when we have Thanksgiving part two on Friday.
Pumking is the perfect Thanksgiving beer. So good. 🙂
