We got some Little Caesars Hot n’ Ready Pizzas and cheesy bread for dinner tonight…

We walked down to The Banks to go happy hour at Crave. While we there, I checked in
on Foursquare and I became Mayor! A few minutes later, I got a message from Crave on
my Twitter that they had something waiting for me at the hostess stand…



Crave really knows how to do social media right. 🙂

I got to open some presents today!

First, I opened my sister‘s presents from Christmas. She gave me some exotic beers that
she brought back from her trip to Colombia, Bogota Beer Company and Cerveza Aguila…




And she got this awesome Bogota Beer Company glass…

When I unwrapped my parents gift, it was in the famed Monchichi box. Only the most
awesome of gifts have been presented in the Monchichi box…

And true to the box’s history, inside were gift certificates for the Reds!

After we finished with breakfast, we wandered through the Cincinnati Public Library to
check out their exhibit, “Golden Legacy: Original Artwork from 65 years of Golden Books.”




























Golden Legacy will be on display at the Main Branch of the Cincinnati Public Library
until February 21st. It’s definitely worth checking out. And will immediately transport

My parents came down from Michigan to visit for the weekend. And they brought a few local
southwestern Michigan delicacies with them. First were a couple of Pizza King pizzas…








And then we had some delicious birthday cake from Boonzaaijer’s Bakery…

This evening I stopped in to the Weston Art Gallery to check out their latest installation
entitled, Standing in Time’s Flow: Ceramic Sculpture by Robert Pulley. From their website…

“Both abstract and organic, Robert Pulley’s large-scale ceramic sculptures combine
ambiguous references to the human figure, organic growth, and geological stratification
and fracturing. Pulley’s totemic forms imply humans embedded in the forces of nature.
Situated in the street-level exhibition space of the gallery, they stand like sentinels
emerging from the stone floors they occupy.”



















Interesting stuff. I’ll have to stop back soon to check out the new installations in their
