Walking in a winter wonderland.

It snowed again this evening. And we took the pups for a quick walk in the winter wonderland.

Crave does social media right.

We walked down to The Banks to go happy hour at Crave. While we there, I checked in
on Foursquare and I became Mayor! A few minutes later, I got a message from Crave on
my Twitter that they had something waiting for me at the hostess stand…

Imported from Michigan.

My parents came down from Michigan to visit for the weekend. And they brought a few local
southwestern Michigan delicacies with them. First were a couple of Pizza King pizzas…

Standing in Time’s Flow.

This evening I stopped in to the Weston Art Gallery to check out their latest installation
entitled, Standing in Time’s Flow: Ceramic Sculpture by Robert Pulley. From their website…

“Both abstract and organic, Robert Pulleyโ€™s large-scale ceramic sculptures combine
ambiguous references to the human figure, organic growth, and geological stratification
and fracturing. Pulleyโ€™s totemic forms imply humans embedded in the forces of nature.
Situated in the street-level exhibition space of the gallery, they stand like sentinels
emerging from the stone floors they occupy.”

Strike+Spare Western Bowl.

I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. Whoever decided to combine a Mexican restaurant
and a bowling alley is absolutely genius! We journeyed to the Westside to feast on some
Mexican food for lunch and then work it off with some bowling…
