This evening we made a pilgrimage out to visit purveyors of all things Swedish, Ikea…

We went back to Yard House for Happy Hour. Hopefully, with a few less people around.


We started with some Moo Shu Egg Rolls…

Then we tried some of Yard House’s street tacos…

From the left, Grilled Korean Beef Short Rib, Carnitas and Grilled Korean Pork Belly
with spicy beans and rice. The Short Rib was my favorite. But they were all really good.
They’re not as good as the tacos at Bakersfield, but they definitely hold their own against
the Kogi Beef Tacos at Crave. Still, I would definitely order them again!
Next, we shared an incredible Margherita pizza…

And finally, we split a amazing Mini Creme Brulee topped with caramelized bananas…

Truly amazing stuff! And like I said before, Yard House is a great addition to The Banks.

Later this afternoon, we went to our friends Gretchen and Martin’s home for a Scentsy party.



We needed to get more scents for Lenny the Lamb. He makes our closet smell nice.

This afternoon we to a birthday party for a couple of girls from Genifer’s previous school.
It was at a place called ozo:play cafe, a play space for pre-school aged kids. Neat idea.

This evening we watched all the NCAA March Madness action on our mobile devices…

While we were watching ESPN to see the United States Men’s National Team take on
Costa Rica in the first World Cup qualifying match ever played inside a snow globe…

Oh, and the USMNT defeated Costa Rica 1-0! USA! USA! USA! 🙂

I entered five brackets in the Capital One NCAA® March Madness® Bracket Challenge.
And at the start of play today, one of my brackets was actually ranked number 67 out of
hundreds of thousands of brackets that were entered!

Not too shabby. 🙂

Starting April 8th, this is where I will be spending my days…

I’m joining Deskey. I’m really pretty excited. 🙂

After dinner at Margaritaville, we lost $20 on the slots. And with surprising speed too.
After that debacle, we had a drink at Rock Bar right in the middle of the casino floor…

Pretty cool place. 🙂

We went back to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville this time for our friend Kathy’s birthday…
