To celebrate our two year anniversary, we went to Jimmy G’s Steakhouse. We’ve been
wanting to eat there for a while now. But couldn’t find any occasion that seemed fitting
for what I’ve heard are some pretty incredible steaks.





We both got the Filet Mignon…


And shared the deliciously cheesy Potatoes Aligot…

And they gave us an amazing little creme brulee for our anniversary…

I tell you what, that was the best steak I’ve had in my entire life. We both agree… We
can’t get back to Jimmy G’s soon enough. Incredible meal for a very special day! 🙂

Another sign that summer is just around the corner, the Strauss Troy Market returned
to Fountain Square today at lunchtime with all it’s local vendors offering up everything
from fresh produce and flowers to sweet treats and handmade trinkets.

Including one, Eli’s BBQ making a triumph return to Fountain Square!

But I didn’t get any Eli’s BBQ today because I brought free pizza for lunch. 😦


I did, however, get a photo of one of the honey bears, just like I do every year. 🙂

Strauss Troy Market takes place every Tuesday from 11-2 on Fountain Square! 🙂

It was wicked foggy on our walk this morning.

You couldn’t even see Great American Tower from Lytle Park…


And you couldn’t see Mt. Adams either…


Geesh.

Tonight, we crossed over the into Kentucky to go to Rio Grande for dinner.

Best. Mexican. Food. Ever. 🙂

And then on the way home, we stopped at LaRosa’s and redeemed our third free pizza!
We got this one from the Reds game we went to on Tuesday where they lost to the Cubs.

We’re going to take them in for lunch tomorrow!
It’s going to be the best lunch ever. 🙂

This afternoon we redeemed our second free LaRosa’s pizzas of the season courtesy
of the Reds pitching staff hurling 11 or more strikeouts in a game. We got these pizzas
from the Reds win over the Marlins at Sunday’s game! Here comes the deliciousness…



Pizza tastes even better when it’s free! 🙂

My brand new point and shot camera finally came in the mail today!
It has a 20x optical zoom! My old point and shoot only had a 10x.

I’m excited to try this guy out and see what it can do. 🙂

After stuffing our faces with Skyline, we headed to US Bank Arena where the Cyclones
were playing game three of their Kelly Cup playoff series against Gwinnett Gladiators.
The series was knotted at 1-1 after a couple of games away to Gwinnett. Let’s GO…






LET’S PLAY HOCKEY!

At the first intermission, it was still 0-0…








At the second intermission, the Cyclones were leading 3-0!

And then it was 5-0!



And that would be the final score, 5-0 Cyclones!



Awesome game! The ‘Clones now lead the best of seven series 2-1! Game four is Friday
night at US Bank Arena. GO CYCLONES! 🙂

I just realized that we recently passed the 4500 post mark! That’s a lot of sharing on our

Tonight, we went and redeemed our first set of tickets for free LaRosa’s pizza! Everytime
Reds pitchers combine for 11 strikeouts in a home game, everyone in attendance can redeem
their tickets for a personal pizza with up to four toppings! These pizzas are from Tuesdays
game, and we got more free pizzas from Sunday’s game! That’s a lot of delicious pizza!



Maybe we’ll get more free pizza when we go to the game on Tuesday! 🙂

After today’s Reds game, we stopped at Yard House for a beer. And after a bit, one of my
very favorite Reds, third baseman Todd Frazier, and his wife stopped in for a bite to eat.

We didn’t want to bother them in the middle of their dinner so we didn’t ask for a photo
or anything like we did when we met Bronson Arroyo but it was still pretty awesome!
Like being in the same room as Cincinnati royalty. 🙂
