This evening we went over to Fountain Square to check out the 4EGSquare…


We got a couple of 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Wheats…



The DAAP Girls were playing…








And of course, it wouldn’t be a 4EG event without giant Jenga…




And we got some Keystone B.B. King Mac ‘n Cheese as we were heading out…


It’s the start of another fun summer of events on Fountain Square!

I stopped into Avril-Bleh to get a sammich for lunch today.





I got the Cuban sammich. Awesome sammich.

This evening we went back to Barrio Tequileria in Northside to drop off the DVD of photos
I shot for them last Thursday. It was a perfect eveing to enjoy their patio.

We had some more delicious tacos…


And tonight, I took some photos of the inside of Barrio.


They had 81 different tequilas on hand…

Today, I got to check out a product photoshoot for one of our clients at work…




I love going to photoshoots. It’s always interesting all the work that goes into getting the
perfect shot. And I learn so much. 🙂

There’s a new little burrito place that opened up on Court Street not too long ago called
Burritos el Charco. We learned about it through a coupon we got it one of those Val-Paks.
There usually aren’t any coupons in those things anywhere near downtown Cincinnati, mostly
they’re for things redeemable out in surburbia. So imagine our surprise when we got one
right around the corner from us. For burritos. You know, we had to check it out…


Like I said, it’s just a little place inside…

Genifer got a chicken burrito bowl and I got a chicken burrito…




It’s pretty Chipotle or Currito-esque. Nothing really fancy. But still it was really tasty,
inexpensive and left us really stuffed! And you can’t beat that combination for lunch. 🙂

So we’ve been wanting to check out the new taco shop and tequileria in Northside for
a bit now. But when the owners got in touch with me about taking some photos of their
place and a few food items and drinks for them, we jumped at the opportunity. So this
evening we finally got a chance to check out Barrio Tequileria.


They specifically wanted shots of their patio. And check out this patio…










I got to take some photos of an assortment of drinks…



And some delicious looking tacos…









And then it was time to start eating. we started with their guacamole. Awe. Some.

And then moved on to some tacos. Amazing flavors.

The Cyclones returned to US Bank Arena this evening for Game 3 of the ECHL Eastern
Conference Finals. The ‘Clones were facing an uphill battle after losing the first two games
of the series at Reading. Hopefully, they can pull a game back tonight and start to make
this playoff run interesting again.










At the end of the first period, the Cyclones were up 1-0…








And at the end of the second period, it was still 1-0 ‘Clones…





But the Royals battled back to tie the game at two in the dying seconds of the game…

The game went to overtime. But there was a 15 minute intermission between periods…

The game could have gone on forever. And we were getting tired. So we headed for home.


When we got home, we found the Cyclones game on the radio and they ended up winning 3-2
with 3 minutes left in overtime. The series is at 2-1 with game 4 at US Bank Arena on Friday.

After lunch, we stopped at Rhinehaus to watch part of the Reds game.

I rescued him from certain doom. And now we’re buddies. 🙂
