Every year nada goes all out for Cinco de Mayo. And this year was no exception. They
had another big blow-out party on the plaza in front of their place called Quatro de Mayo.

















And then we stopped back later in the evening to check it out, and it was packed…

For lunch today, we walked over to Fountain Square to check out Cincinnati’s Premier Latino
Festival, Cincy-Cinco: Fiesta on Fountain Square. Beautiful afternoon to be on the Square!


We made a B-line straight for the food stuffs…



Tacos with beans and rice…

And a couple of empanadas…









Twister made an appearance…


As did all the primary colors…

The traditional Colombian dancing seemed to drag a bit too long…


Everybody Conga!



And it was finally pinata time!







All and all, it was a pretty fun way to spend an afternoon on the Square! 🙂

As is tradition for us after Tunes&Blooms and really just on Thursday evenings,
in general, we headed to Arnold’s for a nice bite to eat.

Arnold’s is always a great way to end an evening. 🙂

Tonight was the final Tunes&Blooms of the season at the zoo. So much fun. We made
it out to three of the four Tunes&Blooms this year. And that’s not too bad. At all.
Tonight’s performances were provided by Jake Speed and The Freddies and The Turkeys.






There was a food truck we’d never seen before at the zoo!




I think this Tunes&Blooms had the most people of any of them because it was packed.
But it’s such a fun event that the Zoo puts on. We can’t wait for more Tunes&Blooms
