5000!

This is my 5000th post here to my blog. That’s a lot of posts between now and when this
blog was created back in April of 2009. And thinking back on the last 4+ years years, I’ve
had ridiculous amounts of fun in downtown Cincinnati. I met the love of my life. Got another
awesome dog
. Found an incredible job with an amazing company. And still managed to pile
on even more fun on top of the other fun. Life is great. And I’ve never been happier.

Thanks for stopping by to see what we’ve been up to. It’s definitely been an adventure.
Here’s to the next 5000 posts! Cheers! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mad Tree Brewing’s PumpCan.

I saw on Twitter that Nicholson’s had Cincinnati’s own Mad Tree Brewing‘s PumpCan on
tap. It’s their take on pumpkin beer. Being big fans of some pumpkin beers, Genifer and I
stopped in after work to give it a try.

That’s one smoking hot ride!

Walking back from lunch today, the fire department was extinguishing the flames on a
minivan that apparently caught fire on Eighth Street just two doors down from my work.

The Genius of Water.

They were working on that fountain on Fountain Square, The Genius of Water today.

I never really realized just how big the sculptures were on the fountain until I saw people
standing right next to them. But they were likely doing some maintenance and getting it
ready for another Cincinnati winter. Boo, winter. :/

What better way to spend a rainy afternoon?

We spent the rest of our rainy afternoon shopping for some home stuff at Ikea.

You go in that place. And when you re-emerge into the outside world, three hours have
passed and your bank account is a few hundred dollars lighter. But we got a whole bunch
of new organizational stuff for our place. ๐Ÿ™‚

Boswell’s.

Northside has become taco central in Cincinnati. But sometimes, you simply aren’t in
the mood for tacos. After The City Flea, we didn’t feel like tacos. At all. We just wanted
a sammich of some sorts. So we stopped at a little place called Boswell’s for lunch.

The City Flea: October edition.

It was a rainy and cold day in Cincinnati. One of those days where you just don’t want to
get out of bed, let alone leave the house. But we’ve been waiting for a rainy day like this
to run a bunch of errands. And today, our errands were starting with October offering of
The City Flea. Luckily, it was being staged inside at the American Can Lofts in Northside.
