There’s a huge men’s hockey game today at noon at the Sochi Olympics. A rematch
of the 2010 Gold Medal game, it’s the massive semifinal between the United States
and those hosers from up north, the Canadians! Neither team has lost yet in the
these Olympics. Now it’s all on the line. Winner gets to play for gold. And the loser…

The stakes have never been higher. C’mon, United States hockey! USA USA USA!

Oscar loves to sleep in Milan’s crate at night. He’s been doing it for a while now. It must
be really comfy because some mornings he just doesn’t want to start his day…

This was one of those mornings. Get up Oscar. It’s Friday! 🙂

All of vacation photos are finally organized. 900+ photos taken with a dSLR, 3 different
point-and-shoot cameras, a camera phone and Instagram are now all in the correct order on my Flickr…

It was amazing to go back through all the photos. It was like taking this wonderful trip all over again.

It really was an incredible vacation. 🙂

After the hockey game, we stopped into Crave to dodge the raindrops. And boy, did we
get a very pleasant surprise! They finally added their delicious Steak Bites back to their
small bites happy hour menu.


They were Genifer’s favorite, and she’s been missing them forever…


They were every bit as delicious as we remembered. It’s been waaaaaay too long.
And then we had their amazing little chicken sliders…

I can’t wait until baseball season starts. We’re at crave all the time during baseball season.

Hooray for Steak Bites! Boo for the weather and baseball still being over a month away.
Sigh.

It’s President’s Day, and there was Monday afternoon President’s Day Cyclones hockey!

And we had a tie game just 26 seconds into the third period…






And the Cyclones ended up losing, 4-3.


Hopefully, they’ll be able to get back in the win column when we go to our next game. 🙂

This evening we walked up to Horseshoe Casino to try the new Burger of the Month
at Bobby’s Burger Palace, Canadian Burger. Let’s see what this is all aboot, eh?


It was a really good burger. It wasn’t the near perfection that was our all-time favorite BOTM,
Pacific Northwest Burger. But still a really very good burger! And we earned enough points
with this trip to get our next BBP burger for free! Afterwards, we lost a whooping $14 on
the slots. And saw a couple of Vegas-style showgirls…

The casino always makes for a very entertaining evening. 🙂

And to think a week ago we were here.

Spring is near! 🙂

They’re started construction on the crane that will be used to build Seven at Broadway…

It’ll be interesting to watch a big build like this start to take shape so up close. 🙂
