Walking through Fountain Square this evening, we noticed the Square’s still missing its’ stage…

I wonder what they’re going to do for all the St. Patty’s Day festivities on the Square?

It’s a sign of spring! The BB Riverboats are back on the Ohio River…



I don’t know that the BB Riverboats don’t run in the winter or not. But it’s been quite some
time since I’ve seen one on the Ohio. And who says Cincinnati doesn’t have any beaches…

We saw this make-shift beach along the Serpentine Wall at Yeatman’s Cove. 🙂

Tonight was the parade that kicked off the 22nd annual Bockfest in downtown Cincinnati…


And as usual, a bunch of goats made it out for the parade…


TOTES McGOATS! We didn’t make it over for the parade this year. But I’m pretty sure that
it was almost exactly same as previous years. Like 2013 or 2012 or 2011 or 2010. 🙂

We went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. And then went to Kroger to get some groceries
at Newport Pavilion. While we filling our gas tank at the Kroger Fuel Station, we could see
the fireworks from Horseshoe Casino’s one-year anniversary celebration. It’s kinda crazy
that we could see their fireworks from all the way on the other side of the river…

We didn’t do much tonight. Not much at all. 🙂

It’s March 2nd. And we’re still getting more snow. We went on our dog walk this evening
in yet another snowy downtown winter wonderland…

Sometimes when you’re getting pulled around the block by dogs, you get blurry photos. 🙂







I’ve never been more ready for spring in my entire life.

This afternoon we were out running more errands. And we found ourselves near Mount
Lookout Square when we came to the realization that neither one of us have ever eaten
at Zip’s Cafe. It always seems like whenever the hotly debated topic of who creates
Cincinnati’s best burger pops up, it’s never too long before Zip’s gets mentioned. Being
in the neighborhood this afternoon, we gave Zip’s a try. It’s just a tiny, tiny little place…

And they have an awesome little train running along the ceiling of the place…





It was a delicious burger. Nothing fancy. Just a simple incredibly delicious burger. I can
see why it ranks among the top burgers in Cincinnati. When we were getting ready to go,
we found the little bar in the back of Zip’s. We didn’t even know there was a bar…

I guess we’ll know for next time.

And there will definitely be a next time! 🙂

This morning downtown Cincinnati was covered in a nice layer of ice…


Enough all ready with all the snow and ice. We’re really tired of winter.
