What a difference a couple days can make. When we went to the Reds game on Sunday,
it was perfect baseball weather. Sunny 80º. Perfect. Fast forward 30 hours, and boom.
Yeah, there’s a little bit of sun but it’s 35º. THIRTY. FIVE. Brr. This was going to a long
evening of baseball. And I forgot to take a photo of the outside of the ballpark when we
were walking in. AGAIN! Geez. I must be really rusty…

And with that, we headed for home to get warm…


When we got home, the Reds held on for the win!

And we are now 3-0 at Reds games so far this season!

Great game! But hopefully, this will be our only really chilly, cold game of the season. 🙂

I got my hair cut over at Salon Beck on Fourth Street…

I was starting to look like a dang hippie. Katie at Salon Beck is amazing.
She got me looking all dapper again. Thanks Katie! 🙂

It was crazy cold this morning. You could even see the snow on the rooftops across
the way over in Mount Adams…

And after we were in the 80s on Sunday, I thought we were done with winter. Who knew?
Mother Nature is such a huge tease.

It was a rainy, overcast evening in downtown Cincinnati…

Another not a great night for Reds baseball.

Okay. I guess it’s a sticker. But Tebow? Really?

This afternoon, we went to the Reds game to celebrate Genifer’s birthday with about 20
of her friends and family. I really wasn’t on my photo A game today. I totally forgot to get
the shot I always get of the main entrance to the ballpark. And I completely forgot to get a
group shot of all of us together. It was hard because I think there was just a half-inning
all game where everyone was all in there seats all together at the same time. I missed my
opportunity to get the group shot. It would have been a tough shot anyway. We were spread
over two rows. We did have really great seats though. Maybe that was part of the problem.

The Reds are currently in the NL Central basement, having won just one game each out
of their first three series so far this season…

But our seats were great. And it was a gorgeous day for baseball. It was almost 80º…

Genifer wanted a Joey Votto home run for her birthday…


AND HE DELIVERED!





Gapper was in our row…

And that was as close as I came to getting that group shot. Devin Mesoraco added a
home run. And the Reds were really pouring it on those poor Rays…

We had another $10 voucher for free slot play at Horseshoe Casino. So this afternoon,
we had a couple of delicious burgers at Margaritaaville…

And after we were stuffed, we played out free slots play and walked with a whooping 1¢…
