Apparently there’s a Bang & Olufsen showroom a little off the beaten path on Fourth Street…

The home of ridiculously overpriced electronics like the $8000 55″ flat-screen TV, the
$2700 speaker and $400 headphones is bookend by a Quizno’s sub shop and a Starbucks.


I wonder what the over/under is on this place closing up shop because no one can afford/
is willing to pay for their “high-end” Danish consumer electronics?

I walked passed the site of downtown Cincinnati’s soon-to-be new Renaissance Hotel
at the corner of Fourth and Walnut Streets…






It’ll be interesting to see how the new Renaissance stacks up to 21c Museum Hotel.
Or maybe they’ll bring another rooftop bar to downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

We went to the grocery tonight. And it was 50¢ boneless wing night at Buffalo Wild Wings…

Reds third baseball Todd Frazier and his family may or may not have been having dinner
at the same BDubs. It sure did look a lot like him. Jury is still out. 🙂

Downtown Cincinnati is gearing up for this weekend’s Taste of Cincinnati…


This morning we saw Ford moving in to set up at the corner of Fifth and Broadway Streets…

This evening it looked like they were pretty close to all set up…

And we noticed all these little lights set up above what will be Food Truck Alley…

This is going to be a fun weekend! 🙂

Game two of the ECHL Eastern Conference Finals at US Bank Arena. Last night’s, the
Cyclones took game one from the Greenville Road Warriors by the score of 4-1. Wouldn’t
it be awesome if they could take a 2-0 series lead to Greenville?



1-0 Greenville.

Check that, 2-0 Greenville. And the Cyclones still without a shot on net.

But then the Cyclones snatched one back, 2-1!



2-2! We have a hockey game on our hands!





And that’s the way the first period ended, knotted at two all.








3-2 Greenville.



Scratch that, 3-3!



And the Cyclones would take the lead just as soon as I went to grab beers…


Twister found a seat just behind the Cyclones bench…

It was $2 big boy beer night…

The second period would end with the Cyclones leading 4-3…

But then the third period started and it did not go well for the Cyclones. Not at all.
Greenville scored just 1:06 into the third and while they were playing shorthanded.

And Greenville scored again.

And again.

The Cyclones pulled their goalie for the extra attacker…

And yep. You guessed it…

And topped it off with one because, why not?!

Ugh.


It as a really good game up until that third period. Hopefully, they can win the next three
games in Greenville. Even better would be winning two of the next three in Greenville and
then closing out the Road Warriors at home next Tuesday at US Bank Arena! Go Cyclones! 🙂

On our way back from get Cyclones tickets at US Bank Arena, we grabbed a lunch from a
cafe on ground floor of Great American Tower at Queen City Square called Simply Grand.



Genifer ordered a Turkey Sammich that she was very good. I ordered a grilled chicken
club sammich that was great too. There was a chipotle mayo on it that was outstanding.


We both added a fountain drink and a bag of chips. I also added some macaroni salad,
which was pretty outstanding as well. It seemed a little pricey for what it was. Nonetheless,
they were really great sammiches!

Game two of ECHL Eastern Conference finals is tonight. So we walked down to US Bank
Arena at lunchtime to get some tickets for tonight’s Cyclones playoff hockey game…

Last night, the Cyclones won game one 4-1 last night over the Greenville Road Warriors.
Hope they can momentum going tonight! 🙂

On our way back downtown, we stopped at The Pub at Rookwood Mews…

We had a Hoegaarden…

And shared a Young’s Chocolate Stout BBQ burger…

Delicious beers. Delicious burger! 🙂
