We went down to GABP this afternoon to pick out our Reds season ticket seats for next
season. And we got to go down on the field at Great American Ball Park…

We drove up to Milwaukee this weekend to watch our Reds take on those Milwaukee
Brewers on Hank the Ballpark Pup bobblehead night. Here are some of the highlights.
We passed all these wind turbines in Indiana…



There were hundreds of them. We passed Six Flag’s Great America…


We got into a rainy and cold Milwaukee…



Our room the the Hilton Garden Inn…

The Hilton’s grand staircase…

We went across the street to the Swingin’ Door Exchange…

And then to the Milwaukee Press Club, the oldest continuously operating press club in
North America. It’s like Milwaukee’s version of Arnold’s…

And finally, the hidden-away, secret Safe House…


In the morning, we saw Lake Michigan…

Checked out the Milwaukee Public Market…

And we found the Bronze Fonz along Milwaukee’s Riverwalk…

We headed out to our second hotel near the Brewers’ Miller Park…

The Best Western Woods View Inn was just a ten minute walk from the ballpark.

Off to Reds game #33 of the season, Milwaukee edition!





We got our Hank the BallPark Pup bobbleheads!

And the Reds actually won again! 5-1!

And when we got home, there was a ladybug on our trunk…

It was a pretty great weekend that went incredibly fast. All this fun in the blink of an eye. 🙂

Genifer and her mom went to today’s Reds businessman special afternoon game versus
the whiny birds at GABP. They had seats in the Champion’s Club. And it looked like those
were some pretty good seats…

The Reds won 1-0 behind another dominating performance by Johnny Cueto, throwing
eight strong shutout innings as the Reds took three out of four from the Cardinals.

All the while, I was slaving away at work listening to game on the radio. 🙂

The construction has made it’s way down to The Banks in downtown Cincinnati…

Is there any place downtown that isn’t under construction?

We went back to the ballpark to see the Reds take on the whiny birds…


The Big Pasta was on the hill for the Reds…

We spied Jim Day down in the Reds dugout…

Lackey got tossed in the third for arguing balls and strikes…

The Reds actually won when we were at a game again! They beat the whiny birds 4-2!

Alfredo Simon threw 7 innings of 2 run 5 hit ball to power the Reds to the win! 🙂

Metrobot was unveiled this morning outside the CAC at the corner of Sixth & Walnut…

Metrobot is the new arts ambassador of Cincinnati. There’s always something new and

Tonight, we went back to the ballpark to see the Reds take on the whiny birds…

The whiny birds Kolten Wong…

Right player. Wong team. Yep, we brought jokes with us tonight. In the sixth, we went
down to Mr. Reds Smokehouse to get a pulled pork sammich and some sides…

And while we were out in right, the wheel came off the wagon for the Reds. The whiny
birds scored two runs and then added three more the next inning…

And that’s how the game would end, 5-0 to the whiny birds.

This morning we walked down to Crave America in The Banks to gorge ourselves on
their Sunday brunch. We had a Groupon, and today was the last day before it expired…

And there were omelets and french toast and desserts. We left stuffed to the gills. I’m
not usually a huge fans of buffets. I don’t ever feel like I can eat enough to get all my
money’s worth. But with the Groupon, it was an incredible value. Delicious stuff. 🙂

After Fifty Fest, we stopped at Mac’s Pizza Pub in Fairfax to get a bite to eat.,,





Gneifer ordered this pretty incredible BLT…

And I had this awesome BBQ bacon cheeseburger…


Great food. TV’s everywhere and… free popcorn!

Great place! We can’t wait to come back to try some of their pizza! 🙂
