Cyclones hockey game #4!
We walked down to US Bank Arena for our fourth Cyclones hockey game of the season…
The Cyclones were up 3-1 at the beginning of the third…
And the Cyclones would go on to give up four goals in the third to lose 5-3…
Hopefully, they’ll do better when we go to the game next Wednesday.

And it’s very, very true. Because tonight, we finally got to take home a Frisch’s Big Boy pumpkin pie to enjoy for ourselves. And it was well worth the wait…

And that is some of the best pumpkin pie I’ve had ever had. Thanks to Frisch’s Big Boy and the Powers Agency for hooking us up with a delicious pumpkin pie. You should definitely pick up a couple, three pies for your Thanksgiving celebrations.

After the Cyclones 7-3 win, we stopped into Nicholson’s for a nightcap…
And one of favorite local bands, Floyd and the Walkmen were playing tonight…
What a great way to wrap-up a pretty awesome day. 🙂

Cyclones hockey game #3!
Tonight, we walked down to US Bank Arena to watch our Cyclones square off against my hometown, Kalamazoo KWings on Simpson’s night…
At the end of the first, it was all knotted at one…
And then the Cyclones kind of went off…
The KWings would pull one back. But the ‘Clones won comfortably…
The Cyclones and KWings combined for more goals in this hockey game than there were points scored in the Virginia–Wake Forest college football game earlier in the afternoon. Wake Forest finally beat Virginia tech 6-3 in double overtime. This hockey game certainly was a lot more fun to watch than that snoozer of a football game. 🙂

Rhinehaus.
Today, we walked up to Rhinehaus to watch this weekend’s massive Barclay’s Premire League match between Manchester United and my beloved, Arsenal… 
Arsenal ended up losing 2-1 on a goal that took a very unfortunate deflection off of Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs. But it was still a bunch of fun to watch the match in a bar packed full of soccer fans. 🙂

Tonight, we went to the two-year anniversary party for Igby’s…
It’s hard to believe Igby’s has only been around for two years. It feels like it’s been part of downtown forever. Great place. Great night. 🙂
And we got $20 in 4EG gift cards just for showing up!

Apparently, winter is upon us. This morning we woke up to find downtown coated in a pretty substantial layer of the white stuff. It was our first significant snow of the season…
