Two weeks.

We went over to Fountain Square for lunch at the Tuesday Strauss & Troy Market. Geez. The lines were really long, and we ended getting something to eat elsewhere. (Note to self: Get to the Square earlier on Tuesdays.) But while we were there, we couldn’t help but notice the MLB All-Star Game branding that is popping up all around downtown. Just 14 days until the 2015 All-Star Game…

Reds game 21/40.

Reds game #21 of the season. And it was game one of a very rare series against the Minnesota Twins. The last time I saw the Twins play at GABP was June 2012

Free LaRosa’s pizza #3!

Today, we cashed in on just our third free LaRosa’s pizza of this Reds season. We picked up free pizza number 3 courtesy of Reds game 18/40, the epic 13 inning rain-delayed win over the Tigers when the Reds pitcher’s combined for 13 strikeouts…

YUM! Free pizza tastes delicious! Thanks LaRosa’s! 🙂

#GetYourStacheOn!

We stumbled across another Reds MLB All-Star Game mustache that have been placed all around downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky! This one just showed up in front Abraham Lincoln at Lytle Park today…

Michael Lorenzen delivered one of the best starts of his young career for the Reds, allowing just two runs in seven innings. He also contributed an RBI single. Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce supplied the rest of the Reds offense with two-run homers to take the rubber game of the series, 5-2! Click to see all the photos I took at Reds game 20/40.

Ring shopping.

We stopped into Richter & Phillips this morning to look at engagement rings…
Ring shopping.
And we found the one that we both love…
That's the going to be the one. But with a sapphire center stone. Minus the wedding band. #MarryMe?
Except Genifer wants the center stone to be a sapphire, and we’ll need to find a better wedding band. A variety of sapphire are on their way to Cincinnati right now! This is so exciting! Taken with Instagram. 🙂

Midpoint Indie Summer.

The Reds game got over so quick that we were still able to make it to Fountain Square just in time to hear the last band of this week’s Midpoint Indie Summer, Black Signal.
