Outside of @mitascincy after an amazing @greymidwest team dinner. #agencylife #agencylifeperksTrying something new is always difficult at first. But after an initial adjustment period, deciding to join the creative team @greymidwest is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. #GreyMidwest #famouslyeffectiveWalking through my creative process from the brandmark I designed for #CincinnatiPublicRadio. I started with ideation concept sketches before taking my ideas to the computer. Next, there were revisions and then refinements based on client feedback. Then I looked at how the masterbrand transforms into identities for the individual stations and how those marks look when used with the masterbrand identity. And finally, applications of the Cincinnati Public Radio masterbrand identity and individual station identities. I'm REALLY pleased with how well this identity turned out. I poured my heart into this logo. I can't wait to see it start to show up all over Cincinnati. . The three arrows or "play buttons" represent the three pillars of Cincinnati Public Radio: news, music and connecting people. The arrows are all moving forward and converging on a sigle point, uniting Cincinnati. The bright, vivid color palette speaks to optimism and inclusivity. The type is bold and modern with the A in Cincinnati mimicking the shape of the arrows and is reminiscient of a radio broadcast tower.
