Hamsters Water Balls at Newport on the Levee? Really?

We saw another one of those weird statue people when we were walking around the Levee.

Weird.

This afternoon Genifer and I walked across the river to the Fest Italiana that was going
on at Newport on the Levee. It’s funny we didn’t go to Taste but we made it to this one.






We had a drink, shared a pizza stromboli thingy that was awesome and did a lot
of people watching. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

On the side of the building above Mayberry Foodstuffs.

I found myself out on Beechmont Ave early this afternoon so I stopped at Pelican Reef
to get some conch fritters. But they had been replaced by lobster fritters. That works.



I think the lobster fritters are even better than the conch fritters! SuperYum FTW!

It finally stopped raining around 8:45pm tonight just in time for me to head over to
Fountain Square to see the Indie Summer concert featuring big national act, Neon Indian…
