#TBT Pause for paws.

Four years ago, Milan went with us up to Michigan to visit my parents…

He was so good in the car. He just loved to ride along and go on adventures with us. There’s isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

I remember how much Milan loved walking over to Fido Field downtown. He would get so excited. As soon as we got inside the dog park, he would run up the hill and go wait up by the fence for cars to come around the bend on Gilbert Avenue and then he would race them down the fence line until he ran out of dog park. He would do that over and over every time we went to Fido Field…

Then he would go home and crash out so hard…

This photo popped up in my Timehop as well…

Today, Oscar was just pretty dang lazy…

But just as dang cute. What a little sleepy head.

Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

I miss Milan so much. I miss his beautiful green eyes and his incredibly sweet demeanor. There’s isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about him.

Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

I miss Milan’s bright green eyes. He had the most beautiful dog eyes ever. Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾❤️

Milan always used to love our walks down to Lytle Park…

And Milan and Oscar would always hang out together on the sofa…

Always remembering the good times with the bud dog. Thanks, Timehop!

ps. And here’s another couple photos of Oscar that showed up in my Timehop too…

Back when we lived downtown, Milan and I used to walk the heck out of all the parks along the Ohio River every single day…

We would walk around four miles a day together. When we moved into our house in Northisde, I started a Milan shrine in our office…

And this is what my Milan Shrine looks like today…

Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾❤️

Timehopping.

Two years ago, we were at Django Western Taco

Remember when Django used to have their chicken biscuit? That was one of my favorite things to eat ever in the whole world…

Also two years ago, Oscar was hanging out on the sofa in our office being a cute head…

Thanks for the memories, Timehop! 😀🦕❤️

I really love this photo of Milan. It looks so old-timey like something out of the old west. Milan was so awesome. Always remembering the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

These photos of Oscar popped up in my Timehop today…

He’s such a silly and handsome little guy. 😀🦕🐾❤️

And when we came back from walking the dogs this morning, somehow the cat was almost entirely under the covers…

I don’t if she was there the whole time or if I covered her up on accident or if she climbed up there and worked her way under the covers. But it was pretty cute.

Three years ago.

Our beloved bud dog passed away three years ago this evening…

It’s really hard to believe Milan’s been gone for three years now. There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where we still haven’t missed him in bunches even after all this time. He’s always in our thoughts each and every day. And I’m so very thankful that a couple of bud dog photos show up in my Timehop almost every morning…

All of us still miss you so very much, Milan. You helped me through one of the roughest patches of my life and helped me come out the other side. You were always there for me.  Always there with me. You were the best friend I’ve ever had. And it breaks our hearts that you’re not still here with us now. You would have loved our big house with our little backyard and our neighborhood with all the walks we take through the woods. You were definitely taken from us far too soon. 😦

Rest in peace, bud dog. I will always love you and miss you
more than words could ever possibly say. 😢
