It was a rainy and cold day in Cincinnati. One of those days where you just don’t want to
get out of bed, let alone leave the house. But we’ve been waiting for a rainy day like this
to run a bunch of errands. And today, our errands were starting with October offering of
The City Flea. Luckily, it was being staged inside at the American Can Lofts in Northside.
Food trucks lined the entry way…

We picked up a couple pairs of these sweet shades from Operativ…

These Guinness mugs almost came home with us…
But the last thing we need is more glassware.

The Happy GroundHog Studio was there. Or as I like to call her, the lady that took all
of our money at the last Second Sunday on Main. 🙂

I almost got one of these mounted dinosaur head for my office at work…

I pondered purchasing this triceratops for a really long time.

Artist Michael Altman was at The City Flea. I’m completely in love with his stuff.

Awesome, awesome stuff. As were these wee little cowboy boots…

Wandering through The City Flea is always fun. You never know what you’ll find. 🙂

Congratulations to the 21c Museum Hotel!
Cincinnati’s own 21c Museum Hotel has been crowned the top hotel in the United States

The home to the Yellow Penguin was named the #1 hotel in the US and #11 worldwide!

Congratulations to the Cincinnati 21c Museum Hotel on this very well-deserved honor. 🙂

Ten years ago tonight…
Ten years ago, I loved the Cubs. I mean, I bled Cubbie blue. And the Cubs were just
five outs away from their first World Series appearance since 1945. Then…
The world was introduced to Steve Bartman. And your heart has to go out to him.
But ten years later, the Cubs’ epic collapse in 2003 NLCS is still not his fault.
You just gotta feel bad for the guy. 😦

Renovations.
They are making renovations in our building like adding hardwood floors in our hallway.
I can’t wait to see what it looks like when they finish. 🙂

Sam Adams Oyster Feast.
We wandered over to Fountain Square today to check out Sam Adams Oyster Feast.

#GoBLUE! 42-13!

And then for the second year in a row, it started pouring…
And just before the Oyster Eating Contest was set to start…

At least this year, we brought some umbrellas. 🙂
