This morning my parents and I walked over to Court Street to go to It’s Just Crepes. 
And we had breakfast. Then we went home and watched the relegation dog fight on the last
day of the English Premiere League season. Oh, the drama with four teams in the relegation
zone at some point in a two hours span on Sunday. Wildly entertaining football.
And then my parents left to go back to Michigan. 😦
But it’s always good to see them. 🙂

A while back I was invited by the Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls to come to one of their bouts
to take some photos. I finally got around to cashing in on that offer. And this evening Chuck
and Genifer and her sister hopped in my car and we drove down to Florence to check this out.
Not a one of us had ever been to a roller derby before and we weren’t quite sure what to expect…
So turns out the bout was a double header and we broke camp at the start of the second
throwdown. It was a lot of fun. And if I did some brushing up on the rules and how the
points are scored, I would totally go back and check out their roller derby again. Fun Stuff!

The last time I put gas in my car was when Chuck and I went up to Dayton to watch the
NCAA First Four. And the time before that was when I was on my way to the airport
to fly out to Oregon for Christmas. I love living downtown. You can just walk everywhere.
And it’s a good thing too. Premium was $3.99 a gallon. Ouch.

I saw this on my friend Tamia‘s blog, The Style Sample, this morning…
Apparently, it’s a couple of fundraisers called Mural on Main to raise money to paint
a mural on the side of the building at the west corner of Main and Liberty. Sounds like
a good cause to me. Stop by and check it out if you’re out and about on Main Street.
