Milan and I were walking along the riverfront this morning when this caught my eye…


Ummm… I don’t think that building is supposed to be in the river like that. So we
wandered across the Purple People Bridge to get take a closer look at this huge oops.




I like how the building is tied to the tree with a rope to keep it from sliding away.


That’s pretty crazy. I wonder it there are going to try to pull it out of the river?

Alright, so tonight was the Bella Vite wine Tasting on Fountain Square with 22 different
wines to sample. But before we get to all that fun, check out Fountain Square’s new stage.

I went to Gilpin’s, home of the delicious and amazing steamed cheeseburger for lunch.

Because when I was walking to work this morning, I noticed their sign board out front…

Steamed hot dogs? Wrapped in bacon? Or topped with Grippo’s BBQ chips? This I gotta try.
But I wonder if I can get a steamed hot dog wrapped in bacon and topped with Grippos?

Yep! I sure can. Awesome dogs. And on the cheap too! Great stuff.

After work, I stopped at Mr. Sushi to pickup some rolls to go for my flirtationship.*


And then we watched, The Next Three Days. That movie was straight nuts. Yeah, the
both of us are horribly behind on our movie watching. Don’t judge. LOL. This was only
the second movie I’ve watched on DVD so far this year. And I still haven’t been to the
theatre since Christmas.

*Flirtationship… more than a friendship, too soon to call it a relationship.

And ps.what is it with girls and sushi? Seriously, it’s good and all but y’all would
live just solely on sushi if the opportunity presented itself. Just saying.

They finally started work on converting the old Metropole Apartments into a 21c Hotel.
The hotel is slated to open in late 2012.

It’s pushing 90º again today. I’m not liking it. Now ice cream on the other hand…

Terrible news out of Puerto Rico, as former Michigan Wolverine and NBA lottery pick
Robert “Tractor” Traylor was found dead on the bedroom floor of his oceanfront apartment
of a massive heart attack. Known mostly for being traded on Draft Day for Dirk Nowitzki,
Traylor never lived up to his potential in the NBA, but his large jovial presence was
welcome in every locker room he called home. Traylor was playing for the Bayamon Cowboys
basketball team in the BSN league of Puerto Rico. He was 34. Rest in peace, big fella.
