I set a new personal best for points over the last 7 days on Foursquare with 965!


My old record high was 957. I love my Foursquare. 🙂

We made more little steaks for dinner this evening. They are incredibly tasty.




We paired them with some four-cheese mashed potatoes and garlic bread. Delicious! 🙂

Today, a bunch of us from work had lunch at Jean Robert’s Table. I didn’t realize just
how reasonable their lunch menu is. I had the French Chateau Burger…

It was an amazing burger. Can’t wait to have it again! YUM! The House Roasted Turkey
Breast Mediterranean looked amazing as well. Oh… decisions, decisions. 🙂

We stopped in to Rhinehaus to watch the final of the Gold Cup. USA versus Panama.



GOAL USA! 1-0.

And USA held on to beat Panama 1-0 to win the Gold Cup!

Today we ventured out of our beloved downtown Cincinnati to go find Mad Tree Brewing
Out in Pleasant Ridge. It was an easy enough drive from downtown. Hop on and off the
expressway, three turns and you’re there. You can’t miss the sign…



We’ve been wanting to check out Mad Tree but couldn’t pull ourselves out of downtown.
But today was C’est Cheese‘s one-year anniversary celebration and that was more than
enough reason to hop in the car and finally check this place out. Grilled cheeses and
craft beer… What other deliciousness could you possibly need?


So delicious, the grilled cheeses. We shared a Red, White & Bleu and a Green Lantern…










I had the Gnarly Brown and Genifer had the Happy Amber Ale…


Really good stuff!

This afternoon we cashed in on yet another free pizza from LaRosa’s thanks to the Reds
3-2 loss to the Pirates last Sunday. This was our eighth free pizza of the season so far!

It looks like a pretty nice afternoon in downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

It makes us happy. 🙂

We were pretty lazy today. Just tried to recover from our fun weekend. 🙂
