There’s a new place to treat your sweet tooth in downtown Cincinnati. It’s a brand new
little cupcakery on Main Street called Lala’s Blissful Bites.




We got a Red Velvet cupcake…

An Aunt Bunny carrot cake mini and cupcake…

And a pumpkin bar…

Lala’s has some really tasty sweet treats. I really don’t which one was our favorite…

But it’s probably the pumpkin bar. That thing was amazing! 🙂

We wandered around Oktoberfest Zinzinnati this afternoon.

We listened to The Cincy Brass…

And watched this little girl dance with her bear…






And we listened to the Zinzinnati Bier Band…







It was another awesome Oktoberfest Zinzinnati! 🙂

We wanted to see if Joey Chestnut could retain his crown as the Sausage Eating Champion.


The man, the myth, the legend Mr. Joey Chestnut…





And they’re off!













Joey Chestnut set a new world-record by devouring 70 Hillshire Farm sausages in 10 minutes!


Awesome. 🙂

Right now, we need some sleep. I feel like I could fall asleep any second.

Genifer set a new personal best for points over the last seven days!

And then she promptly blew that out of the water and now sits at 485!
I reached a new milestone as well surpassing the 30,000 check-in mark…

We love our Foursquare! 🙂

UPDATE: And now Genifer’s is up over 500 points over the last seven days! 🙂

We wanted to get some BBQ while we were out in Kansas but never got the chance. So
we stopped at Smokey Bones on the north side of Dayton to get some BBQ for lunch.
Genifer got a pulled pork sammich, and I got the house slab of St. Louis ribs…


Super delicious stuff! 🙂

That’s a lot of photos uploaded since October of 2006! 🙂

We flew out of Wichita at the crack of dawn. We didn’t have a window seat. Heck. We
didn’t even get to sit together on the flight to Dallas-Fort Worth. And not one photo was
taken. When we arrived at DFW, we had to hustle to make our flight back to Dayton.


This time not only are we sitting together, we got a window seat in an emergency exit row!





















It’s good to be back in Ohio! 🙂

We drove from Pratt to Wichita. And after much frustration, we finally found our hotel…

We walked into downtown to see if we could find a place to eat…






After wandering for a bit, we walked back to the hotel, got the car and stumbled upon
Wichita’s Old Town entertainment district on the east side of downtown…




We decided to get a pizza at Old Chicago.










Wichita seems pretty neat. I wish we had more time to do a little more exploring.

After checking out of our hotel, we wandered around Main Street in downtown Pratt.














After wandering downtown, Genifer’s Uncle Dan took us on a tour of the Pratt country side.
























It’s a completely different way of life out here. Pretty interesting stuff. 🙂
