We walked over to check out the Cincinnati Beerfest on Fountain Square. But before we
get too far into this let me just say that we’re not big fans of the Beerfest. At all. It just
seems rather pricey for what it is. I’m still a strong believer in the way they used to do
beerfest on the Square… buy as few or as many $1 tickets as you want for a one-ticket
taste or a four-ticket full beer. But nonetheless, we went over to check it out with one thing
on our minds, Southern Tier’s Pumking.










It took us forever to track down the ticket booth…

With their damn near ball park beer prices…

Four beers set us back $30. Yikes. But finally! We have beer tickets.

At halftime of the Michigan-NotreDame game, we walked up to Horseshoe Casino to see
what event they were hosting out on their front lawn. The Shoe was hosting the first ever
boxing matches at any casino in the State of Ohio. And they were outside to boot.

We stood across the street and used the zoom on our camera to scope the action.








It’s a lot easier to listen to a concert than it is to watch boxing from across the street. 🙂

This afternoon we walked over to Fountain Square to check out Live It Up Downtown.








A little bit underwhelming but still fun to check out. 🙂

24-21. Welcome to another fun-filled season of uninspiring, mind-numbing mediocrity.

Genifer’s family had a family get-together this weekend in West Virginia.

And it made for a really fun Labor Day weekend. 🙂
