After hanging out for a bit at “Welcome Home: A Salute to Service” celebration over at
Sawyer Point, we headed over to see the Reds take on the Milwaukee Brewers. We’ve
never entered a game through the center field entrance…

Yeah, there wasn’t much to cheer about for the Reds today…




We’re now 8-8 at Reds games the season.

After this morning’s parade, there was an appreciation festival for veterans and the service
community with activities for the entire family, including music by The Marty Connor Band…




We played some cornhole…




Genifer was whooping me…




And we got to hear an amazing rendition of “God Bless America” on the bagpipes…

We’ll be back for the fireworks after the Reds later tonight. 🙂

Downtown this morning, there was the Welcome Home: A Salute to Service parade…

























There should be a parade welcoming home each and every one of those brave men and
women who protect and serve our great country. Hopefully, this parade will continue to
grow and get bigger and bigger every year. They deserve a hero’s welcome. 🙂

We walked over to check out the Independence Day fireworks display on the Square…

In a word, it was extremely disappointing. The display lasted all of NINE minutes. NINE!
Nonetheless, Happy Independence Day weekend and third of July. 🙂

Full of dragon and awesomeness. He’s a nice dragon that doesn’t being walked all over. 🙂
