Tonight, we went to our second Cyclones game of the season. The Cyclones gave up three goals within a four minute stretch.

As soon as we found our seats, the ‘Clones netted their first goal of the night…

And the goal celebrations erupted into the first fight on the night…






At the start of the third period, it was still 3-1…


GOAL CYCLONES!! 3-2!


And another one! GOAL CYCLONES!!! Tie game! 3-3!


The ‘Clones were knocking on the door of netting their fourth goal…

And Twister moved in for a closer view…


The ‘Clones pulled their goalie for the sixth attacker…


But they couldn’t find the equalizer, and ended up lose 4-3. Again.


I think Twister’s expression kind of summed up the game…


But it’s always fun to go to the Cyclones games! 🙂

Tonight, we met our friends Dimitri and Joyette at Pi Pizzeria for dinner…


After dinner, we went to Igby’s to have a drink…


They’re moving to Houston after the holidays. 😦 We wish them all the best in their new adventure. But we’re sure going to miss them. 🙂

Tonight, we went to first Cyclones hockey game of the season…






LET’S PLAY HOCKEY!


It was Frozen night at the Cyclones game. And there princesses all around US Bank Arena…

We wandered off to find the All-Access Bar & Grill on the suite level of US Bank Arena…

We’ve been to all these Cyclones games, and we didn’t even know the All-Access Bar was well, accessible to just regular fans attending the Cyclones games. The views from way up above the ice were pretty incredible…



But we felt kind of disconnected from the game. So we headed back down to the ice and were greeted by our old buddy, Twister…

GOAL! CYCLONES!


Tie game at the second intermission! And they played Let It Go…

It was really cute to hear all the kids singing along with the song…


The Cyclones lost 4-3…

Bummer. But we’ll back on Thursday night for Cyclones hockey game #2 of the season…

It’s good to have hockey back in downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

After “Pints for Paint” at Woodward Theatre, we stumbled upon the two-year anniversary party for #ThisIsOTR at Japp’s Since 1879…









Fun night. 🙂

Tonight, we walked up Main Street to check out “Pints for Paint,” a fundraiser to help put the finishing touches on the restoration effort at OtR’s historic Woodward Theatre…























After checking out The Woodward, we went across the street to MOTR‘s after-party…




The band was really loud so we stepped out on MOTR’s patio…


It was a fun night. Welcome back to the neighborhood Woodward Theatre! We can’t wait to see our first show at The Woodward! 🙂

Genifer went to a special flag raising ceremony to honor local veterans this morning on Fountain Square…

She said it was pretty neat but a little hard to hear what was being said. 🙂

Great American Tower’s tiara was aglow in Bengal orange for tonight’s big Thursday Night Football game in the Battle for Ohio against the Cleveland Browns…



And the lights of Great American Ball Park were the illuminating the night skies as well…

Pretty neat stuff in downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

UPDATE: Perhaps it was Browns orange on the tiara. 24-3. Turrible game. Just Turrible. I bet if you were foolish enough to have Bengals QB Andy Dalton on your fantasy football team, your fantasy season has become more of a nightmare…
