La Mexicana.
It was another Try Something New Sunday. So today, we decided to try La Mexicana across the river on Monmouth Street in Newport… 
I ordered the chicken flautas and Genifer ordered the flag enchiladas…
Delicious stuff. And the portions were huge! We were completely stuffed. Food coma stuffed. In the back, there’s more seating…
Which leads to a little Mexican grocery store…
It was a bit more expensive than our go-to Mexican place, Rio Grande. But we could have totally shared an entree. We really didn’t need to order two. At all. It was a great change of pace. And it’s always fun to try something new. We’ll definitely be back at some point. 🙂
