Today, Deskey had a team building event at Keeneland Thoroughbred Racing Track all the way down in the heart of horse, country Lexington, Kentucky.

And I ended up coming home with $30 more than I left home with. It was a pretty fun way to spend a Friday. Click to see all the photos I took during Deskey’s visit to Keeneland. 🙂

We had tickets to see The Lion King again at the Aronoff Center tonight…






We thought tonight’s show was even better than the first performance of The Lion King we saw on opening night at the Aronoff Center, if that’s even possible. Both shows were pretty darn incredible! This show was made extra special because we were sitting on the right on the aisle where all the performers walked down through the audience. 🙂

We saw our first Newport Ride the Ducks duck boat of the season today…


Maybe this will be the summer we finally Ride the Ducks. 🙂

Like I said before, it was a beautiful day. We heard earlier in the week about the grand opening of Second Sight Spirits in Ludlow, Kentucky. After a quick glance at Google Maps, it said Second Sight was only 3.9 miles from downtown Cincinnati. And with it being so beautiful, I thought we could get in our first bike ride of the summer over to Ludlow. Little did I know that it would be uphill all the way there. And back! And not gradual hills. Steep hills. Ugh. But eventually after much perspiration, we made it to the grand opening of Second Sights Spirits…

We definitely made sure we picked ourselves up bottle…



Later that evening, we made a couple of the most delicious Cuba Libre’s I’ve ever had…


It was a fun afternoon. You can pick up a bottle of Second Sight Rum straight from Second Sight Spirits or at Party Source. And we highly recommend that you do.
It’s some pretty great stuff. 🙂

Last year’s Earth Day celebration at Sawyer Point was a lot of fun hanging out with the dogs. It was a beautiful day so we all headed down to the park again to check out this year’s Earth Day celebration. In addition to today’s Earth Day festivities, there was also the the Cincinnati Flower show going on at Yeatman’s Cove…

There were a lot of people out and about down along the riverfront.












And we got to try a new food truck, Renegade Street Eats…


We shared this Buffalo Chicken Salad sammich…

It was mighty tasty stuff!

Eventually, Milan and Oscar started to get worn out…

And we headed for home. It was a really fun afternoon. 🙂
