This afternoon we hopped the Southbank Shuttle across the river to Mainstrasse over
in Covington to check out The “Original” Goettafest…






We got some Goetta balls…

And a Goetta Melt that was pretty disappointing to look at, but surprisingly super tasty.

We hung out for a bit to listen to Ricky Nye and Dayton’s Noah Wotherspoon…







Fun afternoon. And who knew that Goetta was actually good? I must be turning into an
actual tried-and-true, bonafide Cincinnatian. 🙂

Back-to-back Reds games. The Dodgers were in for four games. And it was a kinda chilly
one for the beginning of June…


Tony Cingrani was on the hill for the Reds tonight…

Tonight might have been the last time we see Tony Cingani for a little bit. With Mat Latos
set to finally return to the rotation on Saturday, “The Big Pasta” Alfredo Simon going for
his ninth win on Thursday and Tony’s recent struggles, he’s probably going to be moved
to the bullpen or designated for assignment. It’s a tough thing when you have too many
quality pitchers. Back to the game, Ryan Ludwig went yard…

And then there was Matt Kemp. Bum. I’ve dropped him from my fantasy baseball teams…

I thought he was supposed to be good or something.

Not so much this season.

After the game, we stopped into Crave for a snack. Genifer got her beloved steak bites…

I was in the mood for something different, so I ordered the spicy yellowtail sashimi…

And we shared these incredible scallop poppers…

Those things are beyond delicious. We’re definitely going to Crave more of those! 🙂

This afternoon we went to our church to see the Reds play the final game of the series
against the Illadelphia Illies…

We picked up tickets through the Fox Sports Ohio box office takeover. Just 10 bucks…
