That was one of the most painfully soccer matches I’ve ever watched in my entire life.

We went to Nation to celebrate Michigan football’s official return to prominence…


The best way to celebrate anything is with a burger from Nation…

And of course, the obligatory grilled cheese…

You just can’t beat Nation. 🙂

After The City Flea, we stopped into Taft’s Ale House to watch a bit of the Michigan vs. Northwestern game (WOW. Just WOW! #GoBLUE!), and have a beer. We were going to get another Nellie’s Key Lime Caribbean Ale until we tried Taft’s Gourd to Death harvest brown. Again, wow! Just wow.

And this is just plain wrong, look at all that deliciousness that went to waste…

It’s just wrong. 😦 But their Gourd to Death couldn’t get it more right. 🙂

We walked up to Washington Park to check out the October edition of The City Flea…


And it was one of those super-congested City Flea’s round the rotunda because they were trying to give the event lawn at Washington Park a much needed break…

Poor grass. It must have seemed like an incredibly long summer with all the events that Washington Park hosted.












After wandering around The City Flea for a bit, we stopped to have a beer on The Deck at Washington Park…

We got a couple of cans of Nellie’s Key Lime Caribbean Ale from Taft’s Ale House…




Hanging out at The City Flea is always fun especially when you get to relax on The Deck at Washington Park. The perfect autumn Saturday. Lots of fun. 🙂
