Mount St. Joseph University women’s soccer.

Tonight, we went to watch our friend Cathy’s niece, Taylor play soccer for Mount St. Joseph University over on westside of Cincinnati…

#FlyTheW!

The Cubs knocked off the Cardinals tonight to advance to the NLCS! #FlyTheW!

These photos are from back in 2007 when the Cubs clinched the NL Central at GABP. Growing up a huge Cubs fan up in Michigan, they will always have a really special place in my heart. I think it’s really cool that we got to see these Cubbies play our Reds a bunch of times at GABP this season

And I’m thrilled that we got see them play at their gorgeous Sloan Park Spring Training facility out in Mesa, Arizona back in the Spring

That was one of the most painfully soccer matches I’ve ever watched in my entire life. :/

Nation.

We went to Nation to celebrate Michigan football’s official return to prominence…

Gourd to Death.

After The City Flea, we stopped into Taft’s Ale House to watch a bit of the Michigan vs. Northwestern game (WOW. Just WOW! #GoBLUE!), and have a beer. We were going to get another Nellie’s Key Lime Caribbean Ale until we tried Taft’s Gourd to Death harvest brown. Again, wow! Just wow.

And this is just plain wrong, look at all that deliciousness that went to waste…

It’s just wrong. 😦 But their Gourd to Death couldn’t get it more right. πŸ™‚

The City Flea, October edition.

We walked up to Washington Park to check out the October edition of The City Flea

And it was one of those super-congested City Flea’s round the rotunda because they were trying to give the event lawn at Washington Park a much needed break…

Pretty cool stuff. It was really nice not to have to hustle down to the ballpark on Saturday’s and fight the crowds to get all these fun Reds promotional items. Definitely worth it to get two big boxes of Reds stuff delivered to our front door! πŸ™‚

Our final #Ks4LaRosa’s pizza of 2015.

We redeemed our EIGHTH and final #Ks4LaRosas free pizza of the 2015 Reds season…

The last free #Ks4LaRosas pizza from @larosaspizzeria of this #Reds season. We got 8 free pizzas this season! Thanks #LaRosasPizza!
LaRosa’s gave away pizza after 21 Reds games this year! If my calculation are correct (ugh, math), I think we’ve been to just over 40 games where the Reds have struck out 11 or more batters over the last four seasons of this promotion. That’s over 80 delicious LaRosa’s pizzas we’ve received… for FREE! We certainly hope they continue #Ks4LaRosas next season! πŸ™‚

Hockey’s almost back!

Tonight, there was a preseason hockey game at US Bank Arena between our Cyclones and the Wheeling Nailers. Tickets were just $5 for tonight’s game. So why not head down to the game? Hockey’s back, baby!

A season to remember.

It was once again, yet another great season of Reds baseball! And where the Reds had a disappointing season on field, this was definitely a baseball season to remember for us. Going to our first Redfest, getting out Phoenix to see three Reds Spring Training games, getting to take part in all the All-Star Week festivities: FanFest, the Futures Game, the Summer Block Party, the All-Star Concert, the Home Run Derby and of course, the 86th MLB All-Star Game. We got to go to the Reds Season ticket holder photo day. And sandwiched in around all of that, we set a new personal record high for Reds games attended in a season at 46 Reds games this year at GABP including the night the Power Stack caught on fire. We picked up EIGHT free LaRosa’s pizzas thanks to #Ks4LaRosas. It was a really special season of Reds baseball. And I can’t believe it’s over already. 😦

No, no. Thank you, Reds. Thank you for a summer filled with wonderful baseball memories that will last us a lifetime! And we can’t wait to see you next season! πŸ™‚
