“He {Edge} is not as committed to his drawn art as Violette. Note the sad face on Thadd and Genifer’s card. That is because he was tired of drawing. He wanted to “say things” instead. I wrote what he said. Fragments. Lists of nouns. Thoughts. It worked well for him, otherwise, we were going to be sending a bunch of postcards with sad faces. And it would’ve involved real Edgie tears too. 😄”
