Everyday, my bus goes by this great Artworks mural on Back Street in Over-the-Rhine titled Brewing Heritage: Grain to Glass, designed by Jim Effler. It was created back in 2015. Everyday, I also get to stare at what I consider hands down the worst mural Artworks has ever executed. And it stares right back. Relentlessly. With so many great Artworks murals around like Mr. Dynamite, Ezzard Charles: The Cincinnati Cobra, Charley Harper’s Homecoming (Blue Birds), or my favorite: Martha, the Last Passenger Pigeon, it’s just very unfortunate that we got the really short end of the stick.
