I saw this poster today for Obscure Cincinnati in downtown Cincinnati…

Obscure Cincinnati is an interactive art project by J. Miles Wolf.  Over 40 photographs can be viewed along a four-block route in Downtown Cincinnati.

Large-scale photographs fill the windows and doorways of nine buildings in Downtown Cincinnati as part of the biennial FotoFocus exhibition program.  Every photograph is visible from the street 24/7, and many are also visible while riding the streetcar Connector.

This public exhibit can be seen from the sidewalks within a short walking route starting at the CAC.  Obscure Cincinnati is interactive; use the QR codes to unlock additional clues and photographs, then read some history behind each photo or the photographic technique used to capture each image.  Viewers are encouraged to guess where each photograph was taken by playing the Obscure Cincinnati game.
