Reds baseball game #4.

The last time we saw Johnny Cueto pitch at Great American Ball Park was the day we got engaged all the way back last summer in July. He got traded to the Kansas City Royals, got his ring and then was traded to the San Francisco Giants. The Giants were in town for three games and guess who was pitching the first game of the series… our boy Johnny Beisbol.

We picked up seats in the new Cincinnati Bell Fioptics District Rooftop on Saturday before we left for the FC Cincinnati match against Wilmington Hammerheads FC. Let’s go…

Johnny Beisbol…

Cueto versus Votto…

And Cueto got was better than Votto in the first. Cueto versus BP?

After Cueto go through the first, we headed up to Cincinnati Bell’s The Fioptics District…

We moved down to the terrace to watch some more of the game…

The Giants jumped out to a 3-0 lead in second… BARGE!

Cueto versus Votto round two…

And Votto took Cueto yard!

The storm clouds were looking pretty ominous. But the rain stayed away. For once.

The Reds roughed up Cueto for six runs in the third…

Back up to The Fioptics District Rooftop…

Genifer got a hot dog, and I got some chicken fingers. I offered to share my chicky fingers with her but she wasn’t impressed. She was pretty adamant that chicken fingers aren’t baseball food. Baseball food or not, they were pretty delicious…

The Reds bullpen imploded. Again. And gave up five runs in the top of the seventh…

And theย Reds ended up losing 9-6. It’s going to be a long season. :/ But The Fioptics District is a really fun area to hang out in. It offers a really different perspective of the game. Good stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚
