This morning, we stopped for coffees @apricot_coffee_house in P-Ridge. I had a Choc Norris: cold brew, banana, coconut milk and cacao smoothie with a Thick Mint donut from the one and only @starlightdoughnutlab. Delicious. What a way to start your Saturday! 🤗Last night, @fccincinnati may have lost 4-1 but it was still pretty awesome. We got to see @waynerooney do #waynerooney things on the soccer pitch. We also got to see #USWNT #worldcup2019 champion and Cincy native, @lavellerose honored at the half. Walking through my creative process from the brandmark I designed for #CincinnatiPublicRadio. I started with ideation concept sketches before taking my ideas to the computer. Next, there were revisions and then refinements based on client feedback. Then I looked at how the masterbrand transforms into identities for the individual stations and how those marks look when used with the masterbrand identity. And finally, applications of the Cincinnati Public Radio masterbrand identity and individual station identities. I'm REALLY pleased with how well this identity turned out. I poured my heart into this logo. I can't wait to see it start to show up all over Cincinnati. . The three arrows or "play buttons" represent the three pillars of Cincinnati Public Radio: news, music and connecting people. The arrows are all moving forward and converging on a sigle point, uniting Cincinnati. The bright, vivid color palette speaks to optimism and inclusivity. The type is bold and modern with the A in Cincinnati mimicking the shape of the arrows and is reminiscient of a radio broadcast tower. Memorial Day naps. 🇺🇸😴😍❤The final leg of #gtfOscarRoadTrip2019. We're on our way back home. It's been a really great trip. It's going to be weird not being in the car. 🗺🐾❤Our hotel gave me a doggy bag with a chew, treats and a new toy! I don't understand why more pet-friendly hotels don't do this.
